Strawberry Spring (2011)

I was the producer and editor for this short film, Strawberry Spring, which was produced as a part of the Motion Picture Workship that was done at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in the fall of 2011.

Strawberry Spring is a dollar baby, meaning that the original author, Stephen King, allows students and aspiring filmmakers the ability to adapt his narrative work for $1.

Strawberry Spring’s plot revolves around the murder of a girl on campus that happens during a false Spring, where there’s unseasonably warm weather during the fall season. A thick fog envelops the campus, obscuring the killer during these Strawberry Springs, and the movie questions the motives of what really happened that night and who the killer was during these subsequent murders.
